Wifi File Transfer now available for all Wifi Blackberrys
Version 1.0.0.2 is now available and supports all WiFi capable Blackberrys with OS v4.5 and above, including 8820, Pearl, Curve and 8900!
If you have already purchased Wifi File Transfer, you can upgrade for free – go to the Downloads page and select the full version.
Users of Wifi File Transfer Lite can also upgrade by installing the newest Lite version.
I have Wifi File Transfer for Blackberry and think that it is a super application. I would like to suggest that you allow an optional password to allow access to the BlackBerry over the LAN. Right now the device is open to anybody on a LAN who finds the IP address,

Yes, that is on our list of features to implement.
You may be interested in an added feature in v1.0.0.2 whereby the port number can be changed/set to random (menu->Settings Screen). By setting the port number to something other than default you can make it very difficult for someone to find the correct address. Of course, if you are on a private and secure wifi network, then this is not a big issue anyway, as only users on the same wifi network can get access.
